There is truly no cocktail more refreshing, more objectively delicious, or more versatile than the Margarita. There are infinite ways to zhuzh it up; make it spicy, add some fruit, toss it in a blender. In my humble opinion, there are no rules. As long as it contains tequila and lime juice, the sky's the limit. This variation is no exception. Starting with a base of coconut-infused tequila and adding fresh, tart blackberries creates a delectable treat worth sipping all summer long.
In a cocktail shaker
1 1/2 oz Los Sundays Coconut Tequila
1 oz Cointreau or any Dry Curaçao of your choosing
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz agave syrup
Handful of fresh blackberries
1
Begin by muddling the blackberries with the lime juice in the cocktail shaker. Once the berries are good and macerated, add the remainder of the ingredients to the shaker. Shake the cocktail with plenty of ice.
2
Rim a lowball glass with agave and then roll it in shredded coconut. Fill the glass with fresh ice and strain in the cocktail. Garnish with a lime wheel and a cocktail pick loaded with fresh blackberries.
